My career interests are in the field of Computer science with concentration in the branch of artificial intelligence and software development. I hope to gain acceptance into a graduate program and continue my studies in computer science. Afterwards, I aim to enter the computer science industry and lead projects that will make an impact on the branch of artificial intelligence. Whether I end up working at a small tech start-up or a large company, I aim to bring new ideas to the table and put forth my best effort.

One of my goals for next year are to obtain a position as a TA in a computer science course in order to reinforce and expand my knowledge of various concepts and connect with other students passionate about Computer Science. I would also like to obtain an internship position in an area of computer science in order to gain real world experience of what I can expect to be doing once I enter the industry. I also hope to keep my academic performance at a high level in order to be at a competitive standing for admission into a graduate program. Finally, I hope to expand the connections of my network via extracurriculars related to my field of study.

Career Interests

Future Goals

In the next 3-5 years, I would like to pursue a research position in order gain knowledge on the real world applications of software and artificial intelligence. After completing my undergraduate studies, I aim to gain admission into a graduate computer science program. I hope to keep refining my programming skills via development of personal projects and collaborative projects. I also aim to keep expanding my network of professional connections.

Reflection

Throughout my first semester of Level The Playing Field, I was able to develop soft skills, such as professionalism, communication and networking. I got a chance to connect and learn about app development with a computer science professor who concentrates on the branch of software development via weekly workshops. I was able to learn valuable lessons from leaders in various fields and compare the similarities of their advice on what drives their success. I was met with a warm and welcoming environment, filled with mentors, faculty and fellow scholars I've connected with. I was also able to grow my network of professional connections I know I can reach out to if I have any questions.
